EnglishThe author of this book, Lisbeth Nilsson, lives on the island of Gotland, which is situated in the Baltic Sea, between the mainland of Sweden and the Baltic states. She lives just outside Visby, a World Heritage city. The central, old part of Visby is surrounded by a high wall from the Middle Ages and it is full of old historic houses. That is why Visby sometimes has been called the Jerusalem of Sweden. Maybe this is one reason why Lisbeth is so interested in the real Jerusalem in the Holy Land. But the main reason is certainly that Jerusalem was the city, where some of the most important events in the life of Jesus took place.Lisbeth is an active and generous member of the Christian community on Gotland. She likes to share her faith and other gifts with others, not least with young people.
